It is a great pleasure to welcome you to the new SG Insider issue and share exciting updates about Software Group.
Led by our constant strive to get closer to our customers and enhance our service, at the start of 2018, we established a new unit focused on Customer Success Management. The new initiative will be covering engagement, collaboration to ensure satisfaction throughout the whole customer lifecycle, supporting retention and partnering in driving customer success. Our formula is based on our vast experience in the sector, learnings from all cases and scenarios we faced. We will be expanding our relationships with our valued customers to inspire success and innovation.
We are already proudly partnering with CECAM, a microfinance organization based in Madagascar. They chose Software Group as a preferred vendor to deliver a digital field solution. With our help, CECAM plans to ensure access to financial services to 800, 000 additional customers in Madagascar by 2022.
I am also proud to announce that Software Group was selected as a finalist for the European IT & Software Excellence Awards 2018, Europe’s most prestigious IT Channel Awards. We were shortlisted among more than 400 applicants from across the region in two categories “Enterprise Solution of the Year” and “Software Innovation Solution of the Year”.
Last but not least, in the past few months, we took part in some notable initiatives as well. One of them was a webinar together with IFC on the topic “Alternative distribution channels and technology in Latin America”. IFC presented in a cooperation with Software Group one of the published manuals in Spanish on digital finance: “Handbook of Alternative Delivery Channels and Technology”. The Center for Financial Inclusion featured our Chief Innovation Officer Geraldine O’Keeffe as an expert on their blog with her article on the key FinTech trends for Financial Inclusion in Sub-Saharan Africa.
